Earlier this week we had extremely low humidity, which allowed our nighttime temps to drop into the mid 60's, and afternoon highs to soar into the low 90s. We thought a low pressure in Florida was slated to head right for western North Carolina, and in fact several days in a row the prospects for rain were looking good. All that has changed now, and we surely miss out on any real rain chances....AGAIN.
Unfortunately, there's not much showing up in the rain dept. until the last couple days of the month. For most of Cleveland and Rutherford Counties, we're probably trudging through yet another record dry month. The only hope for rain now will likely come from an active tropical season. I'll keep an eye on anything down there.
THE FORECAST...
Friday Through Sunday...Warm sunny days, clear, comfortable nights. Highs low to mid 90s, Lows mid 60s.
