Stormy Sunday/Monday

RAINY...Some welcome rains are heading our way. The weekend forecast is complicated but here's the way it looks now. A cold front will ooze through early Saturday morning and be accompanied by some rain. Then we may clear out partially late Saturday into early Sunday, but then part 2 comes at us. There's high potential for a major storm to develop over Texas and head up west of the mountains late Sunday into Monday. If this happens, we'll have some mighty cold and heavy rains developing Sunday. Things just aren't lining up this Winter to deliver a big snowstorm, sorry Sue. After this storm clears the east coast, early next week we turn cold again. So far, February has been almost balmy, with temperatures above normal 90% of the time. We change that fact next week, atleast briefly. Have a great weekend!

THE FORECAST...

Friday...Increasing clouds. Highs mid 50's.
Friday Night...Chance of showers. Lows mid 40's.
Saturday...Chance of showers early, then partly cloudy. Highs low 50's.
Saturday Night...Partly cloudy and cold. Lows mid 30's.
Sunday...Rain arriving. Highs mid 40's, but temps warming up overnight with severe thunderstorms possible late or into Monday.
