Warming Up! What we have coming up is what's known as Indian Summer. Our cold days and nights are gone for now starting this weekend, as a strong high pressure will hold down the fort over the Southeast and Gulf States. This high will keep our skies mostly sunny into early next week, and begin to pull up much milder air. In fact, we could be as much as 20 degrees above normal, if the clouds can hold off. Meanwhile, California will finally get some much needed rain as the Pacific sends a storm inland. The nation will be cut in half, with us on the warm side of a frontal boundary, and the Rockies and West Coast on the other side. Our next rain chance is still a week away, and with the way this drought is, we may actually get snow before we see another decent rain.
THE FORECAST...
Friday Through Sunday...Partly to mostly sunny and getting warmer each day. Highs upper 50's Friday, mid 60's Saturday, upper 60's Sunday. Record high temps by next week in the 70's! Lows upper 30's to mid 40's.
