MORE NICE FALL WEATHER! We're enjoying a long bout of nice sunny weather, which is about par for the course this time of year. The one thing that bugs me about this time of year, and forecasting beyond 5 days in November, is the extremely rapid changes that occur, and the models sometimes have no clue til the change is upon us! Case in point was the freeze earlier last week, which looked like nothing more than a regular October airmass. I see the potential for a storm forming off the coast this weekend, but it will probably just miss the Northeast, dumping snow over the ocean instead. For us, we'll be safely nestled under high pressure, and once this big blue H slides offshore next week, we'll begin a rapid warm up. But don't blink, because the next storm will be coming into California and take the low road, which is strangely reminiscent of Winter. Hmmm, could this be a harbinger of things to come? This storm will likely be a nice storm for our area later next week...and we still need the rains. Enjoy the weekend!
THE FORECAST...
Friday Through Sunday...Sunny and nice. Highs low to mid 60's, lows in the mid 30's. Possible flurries northern mountains Friday.
