Much, Much Cooler

WILL IT EVER RAIN AGAIN? This ain't a rhetorical question anymore folks! I am looking into the last week of this month, and don't see a drop. I'm sure "something" will fall, if it's like our previous few months, but probably "not much". By now we should have had about 38" of rain, but we've only had 21", leaving us about 16" below for the year. September only brought .70" of rain to most of the county, not even 1 inch. We have a cold front coming through early Thursday (another dry one), leaving us with a much MUCH cooler weekend...so atleast we get a break from this endless Summer. I wish I could offer us some hope for rain soon, but I'd be a liar to do so. The weather patterns are perfect for a worsening drought here in the Carolinas as we head deeper into the Fall. When I see something real that offers us a good steady rain, you better believe I'll be all over it..til then, sit tight and make the best of this historical drought.

THE FORECAST...

Friday Through Sunday...Sunny and MUCH cooler. Highs low to mid 70s. Lows in the upper 40's (30's possible upper Rutherford/Cleveland)
