RAIN ! Our prayers go up, and the rain comes down. I hope we can keep the ball rolling and reverse the trend of the last year. For once, a cold front will be sweeping very deep into the Gulf of Mexico, pulling up a lot of needed moisture and dumping it right over us later Thursday into Friday. The atmosphere could be unstable enough to spawn some severe storms near the area until the front clears out of here Friday night around game time. The weekend looks spectacular following the rain, and then our eyes turn to the next storm developing out West. The models are showing this storm turning into a massive cut-off low somewhere over the nations mid section, or possibly the Southeast. It's too early to say what happens later next week with that storm, but it's worth mentioning that it "could" be a major rain maker for some parts of the drought-stricken South. Check my website for updates on that one.

Friday Night...Clearing, foggy late. Lows upper 50's.
