ANOTHER BRIEF COOLDOWN...Check out my new website at
www.shelbyweather.blogspot.com for updates on our weather anytime. This Friday sees another major cold front sweeping through, just like last week. The air behind this front is actually record cold for the Midwest and Lakes region, and will push us down to below normal for the weekend. Bonus! We may luck up and get a nice line of showers with it's arrival too on Friday, before we clear out for the weekend. I have to mention that there's just the slightest chance an upper low could form over the Ohio Valley, which would throw a monkey wrench into my dry weekend forecast, but when in drought, go with dry, right? I guess there's just not much hope of getting into a rainy pattern like June 2005 anytime soon. We're lucky to scrape by with 1 or 2 inches of rain a month. When Texas dries out, I think our rain will come. Meanwhile, enjoy the cooler weather this weekend.

THE FORECAST...
Friday and Friday Night...Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or storms. Highs mid 80s, lows upper 60s.
Saturday and Sunday...Partly sunny, much cooler with less humidity. Highs mid 80s, Lows low and mid 60s.
