Not much snow in Shelby proper
It looks like Shelby can be cleared of any snow. The line is just too close, and like my original call for north of 74 for the better snow chances. Shelby could mix back and forth with sleet and rain, but mostly its rain in Shelby area now. Our temps will get very close to 32 and stay there through tomorrow, but its not quite cold enough for a real ice storm locally. Just west and north, different story. I'll continue to monitor the surface temps, but usually we level off in this situation around 32 to 34, with rain. Looks like a soaker Friday, with maybe 2" or even more of rain. Meanwhile DC and much of Virginia will be dealing with a record breaking historic 1 to 2 foot snowfall.
