STILL COOL FOR MAY...Those of you still anxiously awaiting to shed more clothing and hit the pools or rivers have a ways to go yet. For the better part of Spring, we've had a tendency to have northerly winds and clouds, as opposed to what we've been accustomed to in years past. After this week's rains, another cold front will sweep down from Canada and keep us a little below normal with northwest winds. There will be quite a few disturbances rotating through from time to time to spark rain chances, but I don't see a prolonged soaking, just passing showers, intermingled with sunshine also. Next week, a more substantial chance for rain arrives. I'd say enjoy this type of cool pattern now because we know the high heat and humidity can't be too far away as Summer approaches.
THE FORECAST...For our readers in Lawndale, Henrietta and Thermal City

Saturday and Saturday Night...Partly sunny. Highs mid 70's Lows mid 50's
