Spring Showers, But Sunshine Too

FOOTHILLS DISCUSSION....ANOTHER WEEKEND, ANOTHER UPPER LOW. April showers bring May flowers they say, and lately it's a weekend that we get our rain. Spring is the season that storms roll into California and then, like a bowling ball, they migrate toward us. This is exactly what's on tap this weekend. A pretty strong upper low will head ever so slowly our way, but its possible that this system heads just north of the area. Still, we'll get swiped with the moisture, beginning possibly as early as late Friday night, but it's more likely to arrive Saturday morning. Look for clouds to thicken very late Friday, along with increasing winds. Showers and thunderstorms overtake the Foothills by early Saturday. The system could "pinwheel" and sends spokes of clouds and showers through the weekend, but there will also be some daily sunshine, so it's not a washout.
