thTHE END OF SUMMER...Although Autumn doesn't begin until Sunday, September 23, this weekend is the perfect setup for the first true Fall-like cold front to rake in much cooler air. We will end this Summer on another very dry note. Our area has been exceptionally dry for the last 6 months, with the last big rain being on March 1st...pretty amazing. The good news is that Friday, our winds will pump out of the Gulf, bringing the best chance of rain in a while, providing some very temporary relief from this horrendous drought. But then the Canadian cold front will plow right on through and the strong high pressure will ensure many days of much cooler and drier weather, starting midday Saturday. Atleast we'll have a change from the extreme heat, but Friday's rain could be it for a while.

Friday and Friday Night...Cloudy, good chance of rain. Highs lower 80's, Lows mid 60's.
Saturday...Clearing, breezy. Highs low 80's.
Saturday Night...Clear, starry, cooler. Lows upper 50's.
Sunday...Sunny. Highs upper 70's.
