The unofficial opening Wednesday is just a week away, and we can take a preliminary sneak peek at 7 days out. So far, looks like a cool start as a strong upper low in the Northeast will bring a dry, but cool northwest wind flow into North Carolina on Wednesday. I'll update the blog daily to give my readers a "heads up" on what the weather will be like each day for the Fair, which runs September 29th through October 8th.
